简历:1982年本科毕业于南京大学;1991年获英国爱丁堡大学博士学位;1990-1997年在美国私立纽约大学接受博士后训练,1997-2006分别在洛克菲勒大学和宾夕法尼亚大学Leon Levy研究中心担任助理教授和高级研究员职位。2006引进南京大学,任南京大学教授(二级),博导,创建公共健康医学中心并任主任,南京大学生命分析化学国家重点实验室副主任。曾担任艾滋病疫苗基础研究专项(973项目)课题负责人,国家十一五,十二五和十三五传染病重大专项负责人。2025年起,全职受聘大理大学教授、博导。兼任WHO性传染病、生殖健康领域专家顾问,私立纽约大学客座教授和英国南汉普顿大学社会科学和生物统计学院Associate Member,教育部“病毒学知识领域专家协作组首席专家”。
研究领域:长期从事感染免疫、病毒性感染病理、疫苗和抗病毒药物的研究和开发。主要的学术活动集中在如下几方面:(1)病毒感染致病的免疫病理机制以及病毒逃逸宿主免疫的分子机理(2)病毒诱导的免疫稳态失衡、炎症和慢性疾病的关系(如炎症性肠炎、神经渐行性退化症、糖尿病)(3)细胞外囊泡在病毒感染、传播和免疫调控中的作用(4) 纳米单克隆抗体抗病毒药物和技术。
